Overview

HMAMIX stationary asphalt batch mix plants are built for long-term and larger-scale projects that require greater volumes of asphalt production, with capacities starting from 80 t/h.

Each component is weighed and batched precisely before mixing, ensuring stable and consistent asphalt mixture quality. Plants can be customized with additional features, multiple mix formulas and advanced intelligent control systems to meet specific project needs.

How a batch mix plant works

Every batch is weighed before mixing, so each ton of asphalt meets the selected formula. These are the main systems of the plant, in the order material flows through them.

  1. 1

    Cold feed bins

Each aggregate size has its own bin; variable-speed belt feeders set the proportion of every size before drying.

  2. 2

    Drying drum and burner

The rotating drum tumbles the aggregate through the burner flame until moisture is driven off and the target temperature is reached.

  3. 3

    Hot elevator

A chain bucket elevator carries the hot aggregate up to the screen at the top of the tower.

  4. 4

    Screening

A vibrating screen with several decks splits the hot aggregate into size fractions; oversize is rejected.

  5. 5

    Hot bins

Every fraction drops into its own compartment, so the next batch can be weighed while the mixer is working.

  6. 6

    Batch weighing and mixer

Aggregate, filler and bitumen are weighed per batch on separate scales and discharged into a twin-shaft mixer.

  7. 7

    Baghouse

Drum exhaust passes through bag filters; collected fines can return to the mix as reclaimed filler.

  8. 8

    PLC control

The control room stores recipes, runs the weighing sequence and keeps a record of every batch produced.
